Gasbooru rules: READ BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING!!
Hi, and welcome to Gasbooru. Now let's make one thing clear:

Okay, for those of you who actually LIKE stuff related to farting then congratulations; you'll always be welcome here as long as you follow the rules and be courteous to other users.
As this site is still in its developing stages these rules are subject to change. If you're in doubt just ask some of the other members. Rules marked with ** are concrete rules. They will probably NEVER change and violation of them will almost always result in a ban.
GLOBAL RULES:
These rules apply to both uploads and forum posts and override any potentially conflicting rules.
• **NO Lolicon or Toddlercon**: Very young drawn children (Anthro cubs are acceptable)
• **NO Child pornography**: Any photograph or photorealistic drawing or movie that depicts children in a sexual manner. This includes nudity, explicit sex, implied sex, or sexually persuasive positions.
• **NO Bestiality**: Any form of sex with a animal, with the exception of drawn content.
• **NO Watermarked Images**: Any image where a person who is not the original copyright owner has placed a watermark on the image. Watermarks placed by the original creator are acceptable, but should be avoided.
• **NO Illegal Content**: In addtition to the above, anything that is found illegal in the Netherlands or the United States is not allowed. This rule applies to ALL USERS, including those outside the US and Netherlands.
POST RULES:
• Photography: Photos and videos may only be posted if it contains, implies, or relates to farting. Photographic content is more likely to be deleted by moderators or admins if it doesn't meet a certain standard of quality so be aware of this before uploading.
• Fart Tagging: Posts containing farting content should include the tag "fart" or "gas". Pictures implying or referencing farting should be tagged with "fart" too.
• Scat: For now, scat is allowed to be posted but it MUST have a "Scat" tag at the time of posting otherwise it may be deleted.
• Edit Requests: These should use the "Edit_request" tag, along with other relevant ones. Fulfilled edit requests should be uploaded with identical tags (and any other relevant ones) to the original picture, but replacing "Edit_request" with "Edited". Always edit to the best of your ability as poor edits may be deleted.
• Translation: DO NOT attempt to translate dialogue if you're not 99.9% sure that you know what it means and are confident in your knowledge of the language. If you don't think you could have a real conversation in the language with a native speaker, don't bother. Requests must be tagged with "Translation request" and other relevant tags. Notes should primarily be used for translation, and are preferable over hard-translation.
• Duplicates: DO NOT post something which already exists on Gasbooru unless your particular version is of greater quality. This usually means a higher resolution and less artifacts.
• Decensoring: You may decensor a post containing censorship and reupload it. You may also make changes such as removing clothing or adding gas. If you are going to do any of these always attempt to do so to the best of your ability as poor edits may be deleted.
• Commenting: You are free to comment whatever you like that isn't blatant advertising or spamming. Flaming is frowned upon but is still a gray area in the rules. Moderators may delete or moderate your comments if they feel it is in the best interests of you or others.
• Watermarks: Watermarks by the original creator of content are allowed, but should be avoided where possible. Watermarks by anyone other than the original creator (including an editor) are strictly prohibited.
• External Links: Commenting with external links is allowed where relevant but avoid comments which have no text other than the link. Comments with irrelevant links may be moderated or deleted.
• Reporting: If you see anything that breaks the rules then please report it to us. Don't abuse the reporting system though. If we get a lot of reports from a single user for posts or comments that aren't breaking any rules then we will take action against that user.
FORUM RULES:
These rules specifically apply to the forums, and not posts or comments.
• No Spamming or Advertising: Linking to other sites (including your own) where they are not relevant at all is strictly prohibited. Posts like "First" and anything else completely useless may be deleted.
• No Flaming: If you haven't got anything useful to contribute to a topic then don't bother posting.
• Thread Tags: Thread tags are not mandatory right now, just an idea I had to make navigating the forums a bit easier. Please make it clear what category your thread belongs in. Thread tags are basically a certain cetegory inside square brackets like this [GAME]. Common thread tags can be found below:
[HELP] For when you require the aid of a mod, admin, or another member
[FART] General fart related discussion.
[ANIME] Anything anime that belongs on Gasbooru.
[GAME] Dem vidya games yer always yappin' on about, with fart scenes, special abilities, etc.
[VID] Here you can link to some fart related videos, be they animated or real.
[MISC] Anything that doesn't belong in other categories.
[FURRY] A special tag for our fluffies, scalies, and anything in between.
[REQUEST] Make requests using this tag. Try to fulfill other people's requests instead of just making a request thread and just expecting everyone else to help you.
[MUSIC] For threads about music and stuff. [OTHER] is implied here, but that shouldn't stop you from making threads about music AND farts.
[OTHER] Put this on the end of your thread tag to signify that it's not about fart stuff e.g. [GAME-OTHER].
These rules and guidelines have been revised to be a little less confusing and redundant. If you have any questions then feel free to open a thread, preferably with [HELP] at the start.
